Urge Gov. Patrick to Prioritize Public Transit
We need
affordable, reliable public transit. Not only does transit connect us
to a bigger world, but also it gets more cars off the road, reducing
traffic congestion and cutting pollution.

Please pledge to make public transportation funding a priority.
From
the Berkshires to Cape Cod, affordable and reliable public
transportation is vital to our quality of life. Reducing traffic
congestion and air pollution, building our economy and cutting our
dependence on oil, providing more choices for commuting and travel are
all benefits of public transportation.
Unfortunately, public transportation across the state is in jeopardy.
If
we want Massachusetts to grow without diminishing community and quality
of life, then a thriving transit system must be part of that future.
