"As consumers we rely on getting power to our households, and in this case there are a lot of comsumers across the commonwealth that just did not get that,” said MASSPIRG's Legislative Director, Deirdre Cummings on WCVB TV's segment Team 5 Investigates. Cummings proclaims that "consumers should not have to pay for mismanagement and poor decisions by utility companies." There was something wrong in the delivery system and we saw that in the 2011 outages by looking at side by side communities suffering the same storm, one community had power, one community lost power.
